Russo Cammei is the brand of Emme.C Srl, based in Marcianise (CE). For four generations (since 1896) the Russo family has been renowned for its superior craftsmanship and quality in the production of cameos, settings and precious stones. Since the '60s the tradition has been carried on by Renato and Nunzio Jr., and today by Marco and Ciro Jr., who specialise in increasingly refined settings, among them Roman and Etruscan filigree, blending tradition and innovation, strictly Made in Italy.

In 1896 Nunzio Russo "Senior" opened his first workshop in Naples. He was a master goldsmith and, supported by his son Ciro, perfected the art of frames for cameos and precious stones. One of the family's creations, a brooch in white gold and diamonds with a cameo by Master engraver Gennaro Garofalo, was chosen by the Japanese Princess Takamado at an event of the review "Italy-Japan 2001". In 2007 the family was in Tokyo to curate an exhibition for Mitsukoshi.

The new corporate headquarters are at the OROMARE Goldsmith Centre in Marcianise (near Naples), where the "young" Russos pursue a policy of further innovation, using the most innovative technologies to promote relations and communications with their customers.

"The Coral Palace Museum" (Palazzo del Corallo) is a large building in Pompeian style at the Ercolano-Portici exit of the A3 highway, on the way to Pompei, where cameos and corals have been displayed since 1885. It welcomes approximately 10 thousand visitors a month, who can follow the history and manufacturing of cameos and corals, watch our artisans at work and admire historical cameos, including a private Victorian Era collection and masterpieces by Master engravers Garofalo and Ottaviano.
