DAC (Distretto Tecnologico Aerospaziale della Campania) was founded on May 30, 2012, with the goal of harmonizing interactions among regional stakeholders to foster the development of new skills and enhance the competitiveness of Campania’s aerospace industrial ecosystem. Building on the region’s industrial tradition and the presence of innovation actors such as universities and research centers, the district’s primary aim is to further promote industrial development and support the regional competitive positioning in the international aerospace sector. DAC includes 170 members: • 32 large companies (Leonardo, OHB Italia, Telespazio, MBDA Italia, etc.), • 15 universities and research centers, • 123 SMEs and other organizations. Since its establishment, DAC has promoted joint initiatives among its members with a market-oriented vision in four key sectors: Commercial Aviation, General Aviation, Maintenance and Transformation, and Space and Launchers.
